It's looking likely that this year's event will be the best ever with more than a dozen local and national charities taking part including Florence Nightingale Hospice.

With around 40 stalls you can buy everything from fruit, vegetables, fish, meat, artisan breads and plants to clothing, bric-a-brac, garden ornaments and picture frames.

Thame Market is surprisingly good. The picturesque and historic town centre is relatively small so the market gives a welcome boost to the retail offering.
